The essentials of a career
Every career journey represents essential factors for every individual. For some, it can be trust, and a development opportunity for others. Doing what you love is key for a successful career path. Pınar Albayrak, Human Resources Unit Manager at İGSAŞ, emphasizes how much she values development: “In my thirteen-year career, I worked at three different departments and rose to the position of unit manager.
I move forward by adding value to my career path and my company. I believe that İGSAŞ is a promising company that gives people development opportunities.” On the other hand, Soner Karaburun, Marmara Region Deputy Sales Manager, Panel Group, Yıldız Entegre, notes that providing unbiased advice, ensuring confidentiality, and delivering success are the key characteristics that define a good partnership: “For me, integrity and trust are essential. This is why I named my twin boys, who are 12 years old now, Onur and Anıl, so that I am remembered for my honor and integrity in the future.” Gürcan Boztaş, Administrative Affairs Officer, Yıldız Demir Çelik says that doing what you love is essential for productivity on the job; “When you do what you love, you reflect this on your environment and colleagues, who are affected by this positive energy.”

Engaging with the world through music
Ufuk Doğan, Laboratory Technician at Yıldız Demir Çelik, talks about how playing the guitar enhances his life: “I started singing in the first grade when my teacher put me in the choir. When I sang solo, my teacher discovered that I was musically talented and guided me toward playing an instrument. In sixth grade, I started playing baglama (a string instrument). About five years later, I turned to the guitar and learned how to play it by watching videos. Then, I began to sing while I played. Sometime later, we formed a band with a friend. We started our stage performances in 2012 in a semi-professional capacity. Nowadays, I play every free moment I can spare. Wherever there is music, I am happy. Music is a way of life for me.”

Toward a green revolution in agriculture
Digital technologies drive the development of the agricultural industry considerably. They offer reliable statistical data on the cultivated fields, enable calculation of the ideal amounts that growers should use, and improve the sustainability and efficiency of production. Furthermore, they allow farmers to take early measures against potential damage caused by climatic conditions and other external factors. İGSAŞ R&D Center is currently preparing to conduct various studies using the CEMRE drone as part of the Smart Agriculture Project to drive the company’s contribution to agriculture. The plan is to use the CEMRE drone to drop seed bombs, conduct agricultural phenological observations, agricultural spraying, and fertilization, grow commercial forests, carry out R&D greenhouse applications, and engage in university-industry collaborations. The objective of these activities is to build on the capabilities of the İGSAŞ R&D Center and ensure its sustainability.
